Scott,
The ROM on the upgrade is completely overwritten when it is upgraded so
there really isn't a difference between "upgraded' and "Native" as there is
in the Windows desktop world.
Given that the 6700 is running the Phone Edition version of Windows Mobile
5.0, it is likely that Voice Command is part of the ROM and can't be
removed. I'm not 100% on that but I'm pretty sure the PPC Phone units have
Voice Command included in the ROM.
