Hehehee...
Newton was its old name, now Apple is bringing iWalk. It's interesting to see how MacOS X can make its way into smaller platform like iWalk.
From what I read, that iWalk will have functional module from MacOS X (much like what WinCE 3.0/PocketPC 2002 from Windows XP).
What I didn't know, is that this has been kept internal, and secret for quite somewhile. I haven't heard about iWalk at all until this week, and even when I read about it, I was still a bit sceptic because Apple purposely killed Newton years ago... (I thought it was stupid for them to kill their Newton, I loved Newton).
Anyhow... Nothing much about iWalk is available, and only time will tell how cool this iWalk will be like. Like I said, it'll probably only appeal Mac-fan more. I know I won't pick up iWalk any sooner than required. Even if I don't have my iPaq, I won't make decision to include iWalk as my potential PDA device. :p
If like iPod, I think Apple will only make iWalk compatible with MacOS X... that's how tight and monopolise the Apple's support is. All Apple products are only and supported by Apple's hardware family, why hadn't DOJ look into this matter? :D ;) :0
Anyway.. on side note, I think iWalk will be interesting to have a look at. Not that I will get it or anything (as I mentioned before).
