View Full Version : Crazy Spikes from Stylus Taps/Lines

Hi,
I have an iPAQ H3600. Lately I've been finding that the stylus is WILDLY
inaccurate. Trying to draw a horizontal line ends up looking like a line
graph with severe high and low spikes. No amount of realigning the screen
seems to fix the problem Sometimes it draws smooth perfect lines, but more
and more I'm getting the spikes that make it impossible to use.

Speaking of realigning the screen, when I do try, sometimes I have to do it
(ie it forces me to do it) 7 or 8 times before it accepts the taps and tells
me "screen aligned".

Anybody had to deal with this?

Thanks in advance for your help,
DRW

Unfortunately, both problems sound like the touch screen circuitry is
failing.
