It depends on what exactly you would like to change. The today page background can easily be changed by going into settings and editing the necessary options. Many more backgrounds are available @ pocketthemes.com. You can also use a program like http://www.stardock.com/products/pocketblinds/ to skin the start bar and menus. Hope that helps. :)
