How do I get the Acrobat Reader for PPC2k2 to install?

I have successfully downloaded the setup file from Adobe (with numerous "server connection reset" error...). And yet, when it goes unpacking the installation files, and begins the setup, the setup never seems to be proceeding to the phrase of installation. It just run (with the hour glass) then stopped. Checked the task manager, and found out the setup.exe and the acrobatreaderppc2k2.exe is idling. (they just STOPPED!)


I have Windows XP Professional, running ActiveSynch 3.5 with all connection are good and well. I'm able to connect to iPaq 3850 with no trouble, just that, acrobat reader for ppc2k2 doesn't want to install... :angry: :angry:

I'll try that... I have a similar case with SimCity 2000 for PocketPC...

I think it's the desktop system that stuffed up? (is this true?) I'll try your .CAB installation method.

BTW which .CAB should i move? there's a few. *haha*  :D  :D  :0  :0

:( copying data1.cab file over to ipaq and run from there, doesn't help.

ipaq does not comprehend with what .cab file format it is...


my friend said, i might need to restart my pc (desktop). will try that then.

People, you can give us some more room now... all is resolved!!!

It turned out that.. I need to restart my desktop computer... there was some application conflict with the setup file apparently. And now it's working sweet :)


So what's next? hehe. :D
