“Neil Dagger, iPAQ and Connected Devices business manager Compaq UK, said: “Since the initial European-wide programme closed on 31st December 2001, we have had a number of requests from customers who want to upgrade their iPAQs but who didn’t manage to place their orders in the three month period before the programme closed. As soon as we realised that our customers wanted this option extended we worked to provide a new supply of CDs and to put a mechanism in place for customers to order the disks. We hope that this new scheme will enable even more of our customers to upgrade their iPAQs easily and swiftly”

The upgrade costs £35 (inculuding P & P) and can be ordered from the Compaq website
