PocketGB is an emulator which allows you to play GameBoy, NES, Sega Master System, Sega GameGear, and NEC TurboGrafx-16/PC-Engine games on your PocketPC, Palm-Sized PC, or HPC Pro device. This version includes a large amount of new updates and bugfixes.

Updates in Version 1.50 Beta 1 Released
-Fixed a bug where going to properties dialog would make PocketGB disappear momentarily or entirely.
-Fixed the crash during full screen switch happening on some devices when virtual pad was enabled.
-Properly handle input capture and start menu control. Paused games now release the start menu and input.
-Paused games now leave the last frame on the screen again (except for TG-16).
-Cleaned up some double drawing.
-Workaround for GAPI on iPAQ 3800 series.
-Workaround for GAPI on Aero.
-Fixed SGB redraw bug.
-Rewrote graphics and input libraries.
-Huge rewrite of of the application code (increased stability & speed).
-New installer for BE-300.
-Installs are now OS specific and EXE only.
-Reset or load game state automatically resumes now.
-Removed option for direct video (always enabled if supported).
-Removed external keyboard option (obsolete).
-Removed delayed input (obsolete).
-Removed frame speed setting (not needed).
-Fixed popping audio on some devices.
-Full screen blend is improved and automatic now on 16bpp devices when video size is maxed. Thanks Henrik!
-2x width option only shown for HPC.
-Zoom sizes made larger for 640×480 HPC.
-Improved sound levels and quality.
-Fixed tab display in options dialogs so full tab control is visible.
-Added clipping to the graphics lib to fix some drawing issues.
-Added “Fit to Window” option in Global settings/Video to allow for full screen play at non-standard aspect ratios.
-Improved NES speed, especially on ARM.
-Improved Saved State Load speed and Reset speed (all modules).
-GB Advance module released for HPC Pro & PPC SH3.
-Sound added to GB Advance module. It’s in, but I recommend turning this off due to how slow emulation already is. Present day devices can’t keep up.
-Changed application icon.
-Removed some non-used tabs and consolidated common tabs to reduce binary size.
-Allow mapping of L/R GB Advance buttons to CE hardware buttons.
-Optimized project settings for SH3/4 HPC, PSPC.
-Bypassed DRAM buffer on Casio devices. Should eliminate left over drawing issues.
-Fixed problem on HPC where dialogs were not coming to the front.
-New configuration option for number of sound buffers. Lower is more accurate, higher if your device is slow and makes the sound crackle and pop. You should set this as low as you can before sound begins to skip.
-TG-16 module saves cartridge battery state now.
-MasterSystem/GameGear module updated. Save game state format changed as well, so old states won’t load under this version.
